Young mother of two with a history of breast reduction, who was a great candidate for this technique. We were able to match the previous surgical pattern in reconstruction to give her a wonderful outcome.
This patient was perfectly happy with her current breast size and shape so she opted for a unilateral approach to preserve her natural body form. We were able to achieve an excellent with the natural breast.
An absolutely great candidate for a bilateral reconstruction using free DIEP flaps who benefitted from small periareolar lifts on either side to give shape to the breasts and the outcome the patient desired.
This patient had a long history of several reconstructions including a previous TRAM. We decided on an SGAP flap taken from the posterior to give her the best look in terms of shape and outcome given the reconstructive history.
This patient presented with the need for reconstruction on the right. She opted for a two stage reconstruction with tissue expander as well as a lift and augmentation on the right for fullness as well as symmetry.
This young mother recently diagnosed desired to a bilateral mastectomy due to a strong family history. She was a great candidate for DIEP flaps, but decided that tissue expander reconstruction was the right fit for her. We did also supplement her inframammary fold with a skin substitute to support shape and tissue thickness around the lower breast pole.
This patient came to me quite unsure of her options as well as her desired outcome. We spoke at length and carefully reviewed each possibility to find the right kind of reconstruction for her. She was concerned about scarring as well as interested in using her own tissue. In the end we found the perfect approach and were able to achieve a beautiful outcome.
